Eye of the Nightingale

Opaque twist glassware - Cesmi Bulbul - is an exquisite form of glass blowing technique that dates back to the 18th century Ottoman Empire, using very thin rods of colored crystal glass and melting them together on a glass body to produce a spiraling design.  The twisting technique creates a unique pattern, called as the "Eye of the Nightingale".
